There is no rotation here. The person who answers your first WhatsApp message is the person who plans your design, quotes it, and sits across from you for the next two to three hours.

That is the whole model, and it is why the calendar is deliberately small. A full custom set takes as long as it takes — freehand art does not fit into a 45-minute slot without showing. If you have ever left a salon holding an approximation of the photo you brought in, that gap is exactly what this practice exists to close.

Why the sunflower

The sunflower is not decoration on a logo. It is a design Clau paints by hand on real sets — golden petals, dark center, no stamps and no stickers. Clients ask for it by name, and no two come out identical. A sunflower turns toward the light; that is the whole idea. You can see the range of it on the sunflower designs page.

How a set with Clau actually works

• You message on WhatsApp first. Send reference photos, the shape and length you want, and the date you need it for.
• You get a real quote before you book. Not a range, not a "from" price — an exact number for your set. Nothing on this site carries a price list because no two sets cost the same. The reasoning is written out in the cost guide.
• The design is settled before you arrive. You do not spend the first twenty minutes of your appointment explaining yourself.
• You sit down for two to three hours. One client at a time, unrushed, and you leave with the set you actually pictured.

The guides on this site come out of questions clients ask mid-appointment: why a set lifted early, which shape survives a keyboard, what a quote is actually made of. Clau writes them. Where a guide makes a claim about nail or skin health, it cites dermatology and FDA sources instead of salon folklore, because getting that wrong costs you a nail plate.

Sarasota is bilingual and so is this practice. Every page on this site has a Spanish twin, and WhatsApp works in either language — with Clau directly, not through a front desk. If describing exactly what you want is easier in Spanish, do it in Spanish: esta página en español.

Where to find her

Clau works at Yaya Nails, 1155 N Washington Blvd, Sarasota, FL 34236, in the Rosemary District just north of downtown. Appointments run Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Walk-ins are not accepted — the schedule is built around one client at a time, so a slot has to be confirmed first.
